Hi hi hi
Where are my plant lovers at?
I’m OVERLY obsessed lately and it came out of nowhere – all of a sudden I was bringing home four small plants a week to fit into our apartment somehow.
If you follow on snap & insta, you have seen the window sill in our living room that has now become krissy’s plant playpen. Literally. They just put in a Trader Joe’s near me and I begged BA to come with me on Sunday, thinking we were going to snag some cashew butter and bananas, BETTER YET – we came out with more small plants than food!
I’ve gotten a million (yes, a million) times better at keeping my plants alive, too. I bet some of you who follow me have thought about all of my previous plants that didn’t make it very long when you saw this post. Well let me just tell you, living and learning is a thing in my household and one of those things had to be plant existence.
Too much water, too little water, not enough sunlight, too much sunlight… it’s a LOT to figure out, you know?
Anyway, I’m just in love with the whole idea of them. I can’t wait to have a garden one day… simple future goals, ahh.
For now, I’m sticking with indoor plants that add the perfect touch to my humble abode. And I, personally, think that you can stick a plant, whatever size or shape you please, into your home at any point in time to add some natural simplicity. You can make them play the part in any room, take it from a current plant hoarder.
I just feel like if you are stuck or lost in the whole decoration process or you want to re-do things, a plant can always help with that.
So I put together a Pinterest board with all my fav plant in a room ideas. They’re super simple and verrrrry neutral. I like things to be neutral and then pop with some plants or décor. PLUS, having plants gives some major benefits to spice this whole scene up a little bit. They may increase oxygen levels and purify the air – don’t mind if I do.
Check out the board, and go buy your plants.
